After earning her PhD in social psychology, Dr. Lexi Keaveney Brietz went on to work in research-related roles at organizations including Meta, Nielsen, and Instagram, and is currently the Director of Research & Data Science at Workday.As an instructor in the MAPP program who teaches courses in UX research, she’s able to bring her diverse skillset to the classroom.“Combining my academic psychology training with my business experience allows me to help students see the translation of foundational psychological research skills to key business problems.”She says the MAPP program can benefit anyone who's looking to elevate their training, skills, and experience in applied psychology.“We've seen great success with students from all sorts of academic and professional backgrounds. Congratulationsto Sarah Murphy, this year's recipient of the Tenopyr prize!This honor is named for Dr. Mary Tenopyr, who earned her PhD in psychology from USC in 1958. She rose to prominence in the field of industrial and organizational psychology, ultimately serving as president of SIOP. Our program is fortunate to have the Mary Tenopyr Fundto recognize some of our most exceptional students.This award is an honor bestowed on two MAPP students annually who demonstrate outstanding research, scholarship and professional promise as a future leaders and mentors.Congratulations, Sarah!
